    Building Self Esteem

Loving me is one of the hardest things I have ever tried to do. As I look in the mirror, all I see is a fat blob. If we just had a mirror that would show us on the inside, we'd all be better. I think my first step is realizing I need to have a better opinion of myself.

Willow, there are many self helps groups out there that can help you to feel better about yourself. I also have many books that I re-read when I begin to feel myself sinking. My all time favorite is Self-Love by Robert Schuller. Pick up a copy soon.

I have read that book Carla and it did me a world of good. I also have read some on anger and stress. Several seminars I attended have also helped me cope with things beyond my control. It's just good to know that everything is not my fault.

I think we have all gone through the stage of wishing mirrors did not exist. I have read a bunch of books myself and the one thing that a book can not do is be a listening ear. I always fell better after I talk to someone in the same boat, the connection is that much deeper.
